The Left is finally being forced to admit the truth about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.
The liberal website The Daily Beast issued a correction in their story which claimed that the laptop was “stolen.”
The laptop was never stolen — it was given to the computer shop by Hunter Biden in April of 2019.
The Daily Beast issued an apology to the laptop repairman who first obtained Hunter Biden’s computer after the liberal blog erroneously alleged the device was “stolen.”
John Paul Mac Isaac was swept up in the New York Post’s bombshell reporting in October 2020 that shed light on the shady business dealings overseas of the son of then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden as the Delaware laptop repair shop owner came forward with Hunter Biden’s laptop after being alarmed by its content in 2019.
However, a report published by The Daily Beast in December 2020, after it became public knowledge that Hunter Biden was the subject of a federal criminal investigation over his finances, alleged the laptop was “stolen.”
Here is the correction:
“An earlier version of this story mistakenly referred to Hunter Biden’s laptop as ‘stolen.’ We have removed that word, and we apologize to Mr. Mac Isaac for the error,”
This comes after John Paul Mac Isaac filed a lawsuit against Rep. Adam Schiff, CNN, the Daily Beast, and Politico for defamation.
The Delaware computer repairman who blew the whistle on Hunter Biden’s laptop filed a multimillion-dollar defamation suit Tuesday against Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, CNN, the Daily Beast and Politico, saying they falsely accused him of peddling Russian disinformation.
The former shop owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, decided to fight back after losing his business and being harassed for 18 months by Big Tech, the media and Delaware locals in President Biden’s home state.

“This was collusion led by 51 former pillars in the intelligence community and backed by words and actions of a politically motivated DOJ and FBI,” he continued. “I want this lawsuit to reveal that collusion and more importantly, who gave the marching orders.”
Despite the laptop being real, the media spent the 2020 election cycle claiming the laptop was Russian disinformation.
