The winter bomb cyclone dumping snow and cold weather across the country hit Buffalo and Western New York hard. The area faced hurricane force winds and snow leading to whiteout conditions.
While residents struggle with conditions that left many stranded and paralyzed emergency response efforts, criminals are taking the opportunity to capitalize on their fellow residents tragedy by looting area businesses.
Police claim only two looting incidents, and the media has downplayed the occurrences, but social media tells a very different story.
