Earlier today Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) joined Lawrence Jones on FOX and Friends Weekend to discuss the incoming Congress and upcoming vote for Speaker of the House.

Rosendale is one of the conservative populists who has publicly opposed Kevin McCarthy for Speaker.
The interview was an ambush on Rosendale.
After Rep. Rosendale discussed why he would not support Kevin McCarthy Lawrence Jones grew visibly upset and accused Rosendale of supporting idiot Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker!
Lawrence Jones: You only have another alternative and that’s Hakeem Jeffries and…
Matt Rosendale: That’s just plain wrong.
Lawrence Jones: I’m sorry, Congressman, juding on the issues you list on your campaign website, do you think Hakeem Jeffries will be able to support that agenda?
Matt Rosendale: Lawrence, you’re pushing a false premise. First of all, Hakeem Jeffries is never going to be Speaker of the House. What six Republicans are going to go over and vote for Hakeem Jeffries, OK? It’s just not going to happen. You’re falling into a big trap…
Jones: You guys had a conference vote and he had an overwhelming majority of your colleagues’s support.
Rosendale: He doesn’t have 218 votes. he didn’t have 210 votes. He didn’t have 200 votes!
It should be noted that anti-Trumper Paul Ryan is on the FOX News board and is Kevin McCarthy’s mentor in Congress.
