McCarthy needs 218 votes to win the Speakership.
Currently, it is not likely that he has enough votes. McCarthy is a protégé of Paul Ryan, a vocal and dishonest Never-Trumper and failed Speaker himself.
Several Republican lawmakers have stated they will not vote for Kevin McCarthy. GOP Elites insist this will prevent any investigations on Joe Biden, his regime, and his failed agenda. Of course, this is not accurate.
On Tuesday MTG threw down hard for Kevin McCarthy. MTG then slammed her conservative colleagues for their public refusal to endorse McCarthy for Speaker. Her arguments were a bit shallow but her passion was obvious.
