The FBI seized one document with classified markings and six additional pages from former Vice President Mike Pence’s Indiana home.

The search, per O’Malley, came after “the discovery and disclosure of a small number of potentially classified documents that had inadvertently been transported to his home in Indiana.”

Pence/his team then “agreed to a consensual search of his residence that took place today.”

Mike Pence Indiana home

Last month it was reported that a “small number of documents bearing classified markings” were discovered at former Vice President Mike Pence’s Carmel, Indiana home.

According to CNN, Mike Pence had one of his lawyers search his residence for classified materials “out of an abundance of caution.”

“Vice President Pence was unaware of the existence of sensitive or classified documents at his personal residence,” Pence’s rep. Greg Jacob wrote. “Vice President Pence understands the high importance of protecting sensitive and classified information and stands ready and willing to cooperate fully with the National Archives and any appropriate inquiry.”
