The journalist and commentator Mike Cernovich has made an incredible impact raising money for victims of the California wildfires.
Cernovich, who resides in Orange County and is a powerful voice on the populist right, set up the fundraising effort on the conservative fundraising platform GiveSendGo.
He began by donating $10,000 of his own money, although he has raised a further $130,000 above that and counting.
Many generous Samaritans gave donations as high as $1000, although every dollar donated goes towards helping the local community.
Reports of his good work circulated across the X platform on Friday, as volunteers helped hand out supplies to those affected by the devastating wildfires.

Lots of stuff you take for granted. Socks, underwear, baby formula, toys for kids. People lost it all. pic.twitter.com/s1Y9MBmf40

Thousands of people have lost their homes and had their lives turned upside down by the wildfires, which have ravaged large parts of Los Angeles.
Some people will be able to claim back the value of their properties on insurance, others were not so lucky as to have a policy in place.
While many parts of Los Angeles are extremely wealthy, there are also huge numbers of lower and middle class families who have spent their entire lives working for the privilege of owning their own home.
Amazing power of X. @Cernovich already raised well over 30k which is being immediately deployed for food, product and distribution of goods to The Dream Center in LA as well as providing meals. “Chef Andrew Gruel and his wife deserve all the credit,” Cernovich told The Gateway Pundit. “Their tireless effort organizing volunteers is what made this possible.”
“It’s been inspiring to see the community come together,” he added.
