New York Attorney General Letitia James lashed out at President Trump and Elon Musk for cutting funding to New York and other blue states.
On Friday morning Letitia James released a statement attacking Elon Musk’s DOGE:
“Last week, Elon Musk and his team got into our nation’s central payment system in the Treasury Department, giving them unauthorized access to the Social Security numbers, bank account information, and other private data of tens of millions of Americans.
“To protect our states’ residents, we filed a lawsuit to stop the madness. Just a few hours later, we won a court order blocking Musk and DOGE from accessing Americans’ personal information and ordering the destruction of all the copies of records they had obtained.
“Elon Musk may be the richest man in the world, but the law is clear: he has no authority to access your private information. The Constitution gives Congress – not the President – primary control over federal spending.”
Later Friday, Letitia James melted down as she attacked Trump and Elon Musk for saving taxpayer money and stopping the abuse.
“It is unacceptable, unconstitutional… They’ve have exceeded their authority. And so it’s important that attorneys general representing our respective states stand up and enforce the rule of law, because Elon Musk, individuals that the Treasury and the President of these United States is not above the law,” Letitia James said in a rage-filled rant.

Earlier this week US Attorney General Pam Bondi charged New York, Letitia James, Governor Kathy Hochul and others over sanctuary policies.
