President Trump dropped the hammer on Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) during an important press conference inside the White House on Thursday after the former majority leader voted against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as HHS director.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, the Senate confirmed RFK Jr. as America’s new Secretary of Health and Human Services Thursday by a 52-48 margin.

Every Democrat opposed his nomination, while McConnell chose to stand against his constituents’ will and the direction President Trump set.

McConnell then gave a nasty speech on the Senate floor following the vote explaining why he voted against RFK Jr and the Make America Healthy Again movement. McConnell viciously attacked RFK Jr. as a “dangerous conspiracy theorist” and accused him of “eroding trust in public institutions” while extensively praising vaccines.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked Trump to weigh in on McConnell’s vote statement against RFK Jr. As one would expect, Trump did not hold back with this devastating reply.

“I feel sorry for Mitch,” Trump replied. “He’s not equipped to be leader, mentally. He never was.”

“Under him, the Republican Party was going to h*ll,” he added. “McConnell never really had it. He had votes because he gave money to senators.”

Trump then reminded reporters that he played a critical role in getting McConnell to leave GOP leadership and said the disgraced RINO is voting against his nominees out of pure spite.

“I was the one that got McConnell to drop out of the leadership position,” Trump pointed out. “He’s not voting against Bobby [Kennedy], he’s voting against me. He’s a very bitter guy.”

“But we have a very strong party, and he’s lost his power. It’s affected his vote.”
