On the first day of his second term, President Donald Trump issued a blanket pardon for all January 6th attendees that were at the US Capitol and had faced a weaponized Department of Justice under Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Over 1500 J6ers were set free or had their convictions pardoned, albeit 14 men who were given a commutation rather than a full pardon. Those included several members of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, like Stewart Rhodes, Kelly Meggs, and Dominic Pezzola.
However, despite the broad order to pardon “all individuals convicted of offenses related to events,” several J6ers remained incarcerated.
Among those still incarcerated, according to The Prisoner’s Record Telegram channel, Daniel Ball is still being held in Marion County, FL. Jeremy Brown, a former Green Beret Master Sergeant, is being held in Atlanta, GA. Edward Kelly is held in Blount County, TN, Ben Martin is still held in CA on derivative charges, and Taylor Taranto is being held in the DC Gulag.
There is some good news, however, as Dominic Box has been released! Box returned home yesterday from a prison in Marion County, FL.
According to AmericanGulag.org, Box was charged with Obstruction of an Official Proceeding (overturned by SCOTUS), Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building, Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building, Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building, Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building, and Civil Disorder.
One of the few remaining Jan. 6 political prisoners has been freed.

Many J6ers still remain because their charges were not directly related to the events in Washington DC on January 6th, however, overzealous search warrants and the “fruit of the poisoned tree” led to charges in addition to the ones faced for the events immediate to January 6.
For example, Jeremy Brown was asked to provide security for a speaker’s mother at a permitted event. Master Sergeant Brown never entered the US Capitol and was not accused of any violence.
But when he blew the whistle on DHS and the FBI attempting to recruit him in December 2020 after he watched Christopher Wray dodge questions about whether or not the FBI had any informants or agents in the crowd.

Despite having called the unjustly detained J6ers political HOSTAGES, the fact of the matter is that the Trump administration simply isn’t prioritizing what they themselves have called a U.S. hostage situation taking place on U.S. soil. @laralogan stated…— Who Is Jeremy Brown?
