At this moment, Ukraine is throwing a collective tantrum against US President Donald J. Trump, his historical peace initiative, and his much-needed and well-deserved straightening-out of ‘dictator without elections’ Volodymyr Zelensky’s PR offensive.
This complete meltdown is cheered on by the MSM (USAID media) and the socialists-liberals-Globalists in Western Europe, the former world powers that became decadent societies and false allies to the US.
However, today, we learn that NOT everyone is operating in the same wave length. In fact, one of the most important power players in the country has a differing point of view.
We’re talking about the head of Ukraine’s GUR military intelligence agency, Kyrylo Budanov. He came out in public to say he believes that a ceasefire in the war with Russia could happen this year.
Budanov is an outspoken intelligence official, and just a month ago was involved in a controversy over his free-thinking about the war situation that deviates from Kiev’s hardline propaganda narrative.
The top spy said that ‘Ukraine may cease to exist if there are no serious negotiations by summer’.
Ukrainska Pravda reported, via Slaviangrad:
“Recently, a closed meeting was held in the Rada [Ukrainian parliament], where the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported to the leaders of parliament and factions on the real state of military affairs.
‘At first, the General Staff representatives told a lot, confusingly, but very interestingly. Then there were other different reports. But the answer that I remember most was Budanov’s. Someone asked him how much time we had. And Kirill, with his cold smile, said: ‘If there are no serious negotiations before the summer, then very dangerous processes for the very existence of Ukraine may be launched’’, one of the meeting participants told the publication.
‘Everyone looked at each other and fell silent. Probably, everything needs to work out’, the deputy summed up, ‘a little confusedly’.”

So, today, we have this report by Reuters about his thoughts on the possibility of a ceasefire with Russia happening this year:
“’I think it is going to happen. There are most of the components for it to happen’, Budanov said in a YouTube interview with journalist Eynulla Fatullayev.
He gave no details. Ukrainian officials largely dismiss the idea of a ceasefire, warning it will only give Russia time to rearm and prepare for further aggression.
‘How long it will be, how effective it will be – is another question’, Budanov added.”
One aspect to be considered is that on the opinion polls in Ukraine, the most respected leader if General Valery Zaluzhny, now exiled as ambassador in the UK, with Budanov coming in second place, way above struggling ‘dictator’ Zelensky.
Maybe top-spy Budanov is preparing to launch his presidential campaign.
