Office of Personnel Management Sends “What Did you Do Last Week? Part II” Email to Federal Employees

The Office of Personnel Management has sent another email on behalf of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) efforts to cut government waste and do a wellness check on employees to see if they’re still alive.

The “What did you do last week? Part II” email comes after Elon Musk’s email last week, asking federal employees, “What did you do last week?” Both come after President Trump called on DOGE chief Elon Musk to “get more aggressive.”

“Please reply to this email with approx. 5 bullets of what you accomplished last week and cc your manager,” the email directed employees across various agencies.

At President Trump’s first cabinet meeting, Elon explained that this was an attempt for government workers to show a “sign of life” since they were receiving government paychecks. “If you have a pulse and two neurons, you could reply to an email,” said Musk.

Still, this led to outrage from leftist federal workers who are not used to accountability, The Gateway Pundit reported. One lunatic compared her employer asking what she did last week to living in North Korea.

Per Fox:

This week’s email reportedly came from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) with the subject line “What did you do last week? Part II,” referencing the previous DOGE email. The Associated Press reports that this differed from how the email was expected to go out, as the new version was reportedly supposed to be from individual agencies, not OPM.

However, unlike the last email, this one reportedly instructed workers to give five bullet points describing their accomplishments each week, according to multiple reports. The weekly email will allegedly be due by Mondays at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Another key difference, according to CBS News, was an instruction to not send classified or sensitive information. Additionally, those whose work is entirely sensitive or classified were allegedly told to write “All of my activities are sensitive.”

Musk also responded to a post, claiming that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will require DoD staff to respond to the new email after previously telling employees to ignore the email.

“The President has made it clear that this is mandatory for the executive branch,” said Musk. Anyone working on classified or other sensitive matters is still required to respond if they receive the email, but can simply reply that their work is sensitive.”
