War Room’s Steve Bannon talked with Todd Bensman about border security and how to strategically deal with the Mexican cartels. They both exposed the lie of the Biden regime that a congressional bill was needed to close down the border. President Trump closed it on day one.
“Remember that during the campaign we were always hearing about, oh, we have to have this Senate bill that Trump killed in order to shut the border down,” Bensman commented about the left’s lie during the 2024 campaign.
“Everybody bought into that. Oh, the Senate bill, the Senate bill. Got to have the Senate bill. And then before that it was root causes,” Bensman continued.
“That border was shut down in one hour on inauguration day. We always knew that there were just a couple of buttons to push. Trump knew there were a couple of buttons to push,” Bensman said.
“I’m declaring it. The great mass migration crisis is over. We still have a massive clean-up job on the interior of the country. You’re seeing Tom Homan go after that. It’s gonna take years to get that done,” Bensman continued.
Bensman also warned that in order to keep the border numbers low, they need to continue with enforcement policies.
“The border may be closed 200, 300 a day coming across border length right now, but that is not guaranteed. All the troops, the emergency declaration, everything that the Trump administration is doing to keep that border sealed has to continue,” Bensman said.
“They need intel, they need more ICE agents,” Bensman said of the challenges with deportation.
Bensman also discussed the cartels and what might be involved in neutralizing them.
“Mexican cartels are notorious for taking the offense, really often for no reason whatsoever,” Bensman warned.
“The Mexican cartels right now are getting boxed into a corner by Donald Trump,” Bensman said.
“You got the foreign terrorist organization designation which is going to muck them up all over the world,” Bensman continued.
“Once you have that, you have so many tools financially and economically to choke them down,” Bannon commented.
