Emboldened by the Supreme Court’s refusal to intervene, fired Biden holdover Hampton Dellinger is now fighting to reinstate 5000+ probationary workers fired by the Trump Administration.
The Trump Administration recently fired thousands of probationary workers at the Department of Agriculture.
President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with a special counsel hired as a federal prosecutor) a few weeks ago.
However, after several weeks of back-and-forth in the courts, corrupt Obama Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled in favor of Hampton Dellinger on Saturday and entered a judgment declaring his firing illegal.
On Tuesday, Politico reported that Hampton Dellinger is now seeking to block Trump from firing thousands of probationary workers.

A federal watchdog for government workers is trying to force the Trump administration to reinstate thousands of probationary employees who were recently fired from the Department of Agriculture.
That watchdog, Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger, is simultaneously fighting in court to hang on to his own job after President Donald Trump attempted to fire him. And Dellinger’s petition on behalf of the fired USDA workers is now before yet another bureaucrat whom Trump is trying to remove from office: Cathy Harris, who heads a government board on workplace grievances.
The developments showcase two prongs of Trump’s plan to radically shrink the federal workforce: mass terminations of rank-and-file government employees, and targeted firings of the officials who lead agencies that are supposed to investigate and adjudicate complaints from those workers.
President Trump recently filed an emergency appeal with the Supreme Court in response to Judge Jackson’s ruling on Hampton Dellinger.
Meanwhile, Hampton Dellinger has been causing problems for the Trump Administration and has reinstated several fired probationary employees.
In a previously released statement, Hampton Dellinger said some of Trump’s firings of probationary employees appear to be illegal.
“Firing probationary employees without individualized cause appears contrary to a reasonable reading of the law, particularly the provisions establishing rules for reductions in force. Because Congress has directed that OSC ‘shall’ protect government employees from PPPs, I believe I have a responsibility to request a stay of these actions while my agency continues to investigate further the apparent violation of federal personnel laws.”
Late Tuesday evening, the Merit Systems Protection Board ordered a 45 day stay on Trump’s firings of 6 employees.
Additionally, Judge Contreras, an Obama appointee, granted a permanent injunction on Tuesday reinstating Cathy Harris, the Biden-appointed chairwoman of the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).
