Europe’s ‘Human Rights Court’ Sides with Globalists, Rejects Georgescu’s Appeal in Presidential Election Annulment Scandal

In a blatant affront to democracy, the globalist-controlled European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has dismissed Romanian presidential candidate Călin Georgescu’s appeal, refusing to overturn the annulment of last year’s first-round election, where, to everyone’s surprise, the little-known insurgent candidate surged to victory with nearly 23% of the vote.

Georgescu, an outsider with massive grassroots support, challenged the Romanian Constitutional Court’s decision to annul the 2024 election process, which had been abruptly halted just before the second and final round in December over vague, unsubstantiated claims of ‘Russian interference’ by the country’s intelligence services.

He argued that the court’s annulment amounted to a “formalized coup d’état” wrapped in legal jargon, violating his right to free elections under Article 3 of Protocol No. 1 of the European Convention of Human Rights, and asserted the decision was unlawful, disproportionate, and politically motivated.

The Strasbourg-based court, which never hesitates to lecture sovereign nations about ‘democracy’ and constantly forces European nation-states to accept unrelenting flows of unvetted, military-aged male migrants, tossed out every single one of Georgescu’s arguments and added that the decision was “final.”

The high court’s decision follows Georgescu’s emergency appeal in January—filed just days after the election was annulled—challenging the Romanian Constitutional Court’s unprecedented decision to cancel democracy. That appeal, unsurprisingly, was also swiftly rejected, with the court absurdly insisting there was “no imminent risk or irreparable harm.”

Apparently, in the court’s eyes, the Romanian people being stripped of their vote in broad daylight is completely acceptable.

Days before the ECHR’s initial ruling, Thierry Breton, the European Union’s former internal market commissioner, admitted proudly in an interview on French television that the Romanian Constitutional Court had bowed to EU pressure.

“We have to prevent interferences and make our laws apply,” Breton said, referring to the alleged Russian involvement before admitting actual EU interference. “We did it in Romania, and we will obviously have to do it in Germany, if necessary.”

Georgescu’s decisive victory—which came despite nearly all polls predicting a clear win for the incumbent socialist prime minister, Marcel Ciolacu (PSD/S&D)—has thrown Romania’s entrenched, corrupt political class, and the entire country, into chaos, making the first in the country’s 35-year post-communist history that neither of the two major parties—the socialist PSD and the National Liberals—would have a candidate in the second round of a presidential race.

Numerous mass protests have erupted nationwide in support of Georescu’s presidential bid and denouncing Romania’s endemic corruption.

The court’s ruling establishes a perilous precedent, paving the way for other globalist-controlled regimes across Europe to nullify elections whenever outsider, anti-establishment candidates achieve victory.

A new presidential election has been set for the beginning of May, with the aim of securing a result that favors theglobalist establishment. That establishment’s strategy, however, appears to have backfired badly, as Georgescu’s support is even higher than before, with polls suggesting he’ll garner 44% of the vote in the re-run of the first round of the presidential election.
