Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Scott Turner recently visited Los Angeles to tour the area’s wildfire damage.
Before surveying the damage, Turner took time to lead prayers at LA Dream Center, a faith-based homelessness and recovery facility, where he led those in attendance in prayer.
Turner prayed, “I pray, Father God, in the days ahead, that you would do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask for according to your power in Christ Jesus.”
“Lord, we believe you, we trust You, we declare it in Jesus’ Name, because your word is true, and it is the final authority in our life.”

Turner has openly shared his faith during his new role, leading prayer before President Trump’s first cabinet meeting.

Following his tour, he announced HUD will provide a 90-day extension of the foreclosure moratorium on FHA single family mortgages in areas impacted by the wildfires in L.A.
