Vice-President JD Vance on Monday showed exactly how to put a leftist agitator in place while continuing to drive home a winning argument.
As Fox News reported, Vance spoke at the National League of Cities in Washington, DC, today to discuss a variety of important policy issues, including the cost of housing and immigration. Vance took the opportunity to point out how the rise in immigration led to an increase in housing prices.
“When you go across the world and you see and very consistent relationship between a massive increase in immigration and a massive increase in housing prices,” he began, “And we have to be honest about that.”
Vance, of course, is correct. There is currently a record number of migrants in America while the nation faces a severe housing shortage. When demand for a product exceeds supply, this leads to higher prices.
Following Vance’s comments, an unknown female with no basic understanding of economics got triggered and began shouting at the vice president. It’s difficult to make out what she was trying to say in the video.
Vance, however, kept his cool and nuked the agitator with a clever quip, which also pointed out her likely end goal.
“I see one of our nice representatives out here wants to actually, I guess, continue to flood the country with illegal immigrants,” Vance retorted. “Making your communities and cities unaffordable.”

Vance then addressed the heckler directly:
“Ma’am, with all respect, one of the reasons why we’re doing what we’re doing is because we want to make it more affordable for Americans to live,” said Vance.
With border crossings at record lows and deportations ramping up, it appears only a matter of time before housing prices begin to come down and Americans can finally begin purchasing affordable homes again. No amount of shouting from the left with change that.
