President Trump is scheduled to address the Business Roundtable Quarterly Meeting on Tuesday at 5 pm ET.
Those on the board include Apple CEO Tim Cook, JPMorgan Chase leader Jamie Dimon, GM chief Mary Barra, and Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, per CNBC.

The meeting comes as financial markets continue a weekslong sell-off. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 700 points as of 1:30 p.m. ET Tuesday, before paring back some losses.
Much of Wall Street’s uncertainty has centered on Trump’s on-again, off-again tariffs on Canada and Mexico. But Trump has brushed off calls for clarity from the business community, as well as fears that his expanding tariff plans risk stoking an out-of-control trade war.
On Tuesday morning, Trump suddenly ratcheted up his tariffs again. After Ontario vowed to respond to Trump’s provocations by raising taxes on its electricity exports to the U.S., Trump vowed to promptly double his tariffs on Canadian aluminum and steel imports.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shut down a nasty AP reporter earlier Tuesday when she was asked a dishonest question regarding President Trump’s address tonight and his tariffs, which were described as a “tax hike.”
“Tariffs are a tax hike on foreign countries that, again, have been ripping us off. Tariffs are a tax cut for the American people, and the President is a staunch advocate of tax cuts,” she told the leftist reporter.
President Trump will likely tout the United States’ economic might, as demonstrated by tariffs and the influx of nearly 2 trillion in U.S. manufacturing investments in the last seven weeks.
This also comes after Elon Musk announced earlier that he plans to double Tesla’s output in the U.S. due to President Trump’s “great policies” and his “faith in America.”
