The globalist-controlled European Union, in a move that would make even the most hardened cynic question the moral compass of those leading the bloc, has once again revealed that it has no core principles other than the accumulation of money and power, lifting Syria’s Al-Qaeda-linked foreign minister’s terrorist designation to allow him to travel to a Brussels conference.
At a time when Syria’s new Sunni Islamic extremist regime is systematically murdering Christian and Alawite civilians, the EU removed Foreign Minister —one of the leaders of Syria’s Al-Qaeda affiliate, Al-Nusra Front, now rebranded as HTS— from its terrorist list, enabling his travel to the ninth EU-Syria conference held in Brussels on Monday.
The EU, in its insatiable thirst for geopolitical relevance, rolled out the red carpet for this terrorist leader, only days after ‘security forces’ from his regime systematically exterminated at least 750 Alawite civilians in the coastal regions of Syria.

Armenian-Syrian independent journalist Kevork Almassian, who now lives in Germany, sharply criticized Brussels’ decision to roll out the red carpet for the jihadist foreign minister in a post on X.
He wrote: “Syria: despite the documented massacres by his death squads, Abu Mohammad al-Julani has been invited by the EU Commission to a donations conference in Brussels. In what absurd world are we seriously living in at the current moment?”

During the EU foreign ministers’ meeting on Monday morning that came before the EU-Syria conference, several ministers highlighted that the primary responsibility of Syria’s new leadership is to ensure the security of all Syrians, which is clearly not happening at the moment.
Concerning discussions with Syrian Foreign Minister al-Shaibani, one minister remarked, “We will closely scrutinize what he says and how convincing it is.” Al-Shaibani, for his part, expressed gratitude to the EU for its actions thus far, which have included the easing of sanctions. He urged them to take “additional measures” as well.
Upon arriving in Brussels, Germany’s left-liberal globalist foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, said: “After three months we see both light and shadows in Syria.” She added: “We as Europeans stand together for the people of Syria, for a free and peaceful Syria.”
“Germany has promised 300 million euros in aid. It is about not missing the window of opportunity for an inclusive political transition and at the same time preparing the ground for reconstruction measures and an improvement in the economic situation,” Baerbock, a co-leader of Germany’s increasingly unpopular Green party, exclaimed.
