Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas) is set to introduce a censure resolution against Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) for her shameless, low-blow comments mocking Gov. Greg Abbott’s disability.
Weber, a fellow Texan who clearly understands the meaning of honor, told Fox News that Crockett’s vile rhetoric has no place in Congress—or anywhere else in the Lone Star State, for that matter.
“The story of our great governor of Texas is one of unwavering resilience and perseverance,” Weber said.
“Meanwhile, the actions of Jasmine Crockett—stooping to vile levels of discrimination and despicable political attacks—are nothing short of reprehensible.”
Abbott, paralyzed at 26 after a freak accident when an oak tree fell on him during a jog, has overcome adversity to lead Texas with strength and conviction. Crockett, on the other hand, seems to think cheap shots and crass insults are a substitute for substantive debate.
Crockett’s disgusting remarks came during a weekend event hosted by the Human Rights Campaign in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there—come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot a– mess, honey,” said Crockett as the leftist crowd laughed and applauded.

“The House should censure Crockett for the venomous rhetoric she spews as a representative of the Democratic Party,” Weber told Fox News.
“It’s painfully obvious she was never taught a single thing about Texas class, as her behavior is a disgrace to everything Texas and the United States stands for.”

According to a draft of Weber’s resolution, Crockett’s comments are “discriminatory in nature” and part of a “continued series of inappropriate comments” from the unhinged Democrat.

Whereas on March 22, 2025, the Representative from Texas, Ms. Jasmine Crockett, spoke at a Human Rights Campaign event in a manner unbecoming of a Member of Congress, calling the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, “Governor Hot Wheels,” and a “hot ass mess.”
Whereas the remarks from the Representative from Texas are discriminatory in nature and are the latest in a continued series of inappropriate comments expressed by the Representative from Texas, such as on May 16, 2024, during a House Committee on Oversight and Investigations hearing, Representative Crockett espoused inflammatory comments about the appearance of another Member of Congress: Now, therefore be it
Resolved, That—
- Representative Jasmine Crockett be censured;
- Representative Jasmine Crockett forthwith present herself in the well of the House of Representatives for the pronouncement of censure; and
- Representative Jasmine Crockett be censured with the public reading of this resolution by the Speaker.
