King Charles suffered an adverse reaction from the medication to fight Cancer.

For more than a year, now, King Charles III of Britain has been battling an undisclosed form of cancer that has necessitated him undergoing heavy treatment.

The 76-year-old Monarch has continued fulfilling his duties, ‘such as reviewing government papers and meeting with the prime minister’, even though he at first had to take some time off public appearances.

Today, the King suffered a health scare that had him taken to the hospital for a few hours.

Associated Press reported:

“King Charles III was hospitalized for observation on Thursday after experiencing ‘temporary side effects’, related to a scheduled cancer treatment, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

His engagements for Thursday afternoon and Friday were canceled.”

The King has returned to Clarence House after treatment in the Hospital.

“His majesty has now returned to Clarence House and as a precautionary measure, acting on medical advice, tomorrow’s diary programme will also be rescheduled. His majesty would like to send his apologies to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result.”

NBC news reported:

“’Following scheduled and ongoing medical treatment for cancer this morning, The King experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in hospital’, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.”

New York Times reported:

“Charles has returned to an active schedule in recent months, playing host to foreign leaders like President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, and visiting an aircraft carrier, the H.M.S. Prince of Wales. But the palace has offered no updates on his prognosis or the nature of his treatment. His cancer was discovered during surgery for an enlarged prostate last February; the palace has said that he does not have prostate cancer but has offered no other details about his illness.

That is in contrast to his daughter-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales, who also was diagnosed with cancer last year, but announced in January that after several months of chemotherapy, that she was now cancer free.”
