Ontario Premier Doug Ford is furious that President Trump continues to hit the gas on tariffs to bring businesses back to America.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Trump on Wednesday adjusted tariffs on foreign-made cars to impose 25% tariffs on “imported passenger vehicles (sedans, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, cargo vans) and light trucks, as well as key automobile parts (engines, transmissions, powertrain parts, and electrical components), with processes to expand tariffs on additional parts if necessary.

This move comes as Trump’s executive order, which will impose sweeping reciprocal tariffs on every country that charges the United States taxes or tariffs on imported goods, takes effect on April 2. President Trump has repeatedly referred to April 2 as “Liberation Day.”

Ford, the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, responded a short time later to Trump’s new move which will have a notable effect on Canada during a press conference with reporters in Toronto. He cruelly vowed to retaliate in a way that would ensure maximum suffering for the people of America.

“I can assure you one thing,” Ford told reporters. “We’re gonna make sure that we inflict as much pain as possible on the American people.”

Just flat-out sick.

Ford also told reporters that he talked to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and wanted him to “target American cars” in the federal government’s response.

“We buy as many cars off the U.S. as we sell down there,” he explained.

One should not be surprised by Ford’s disgusting remarks. As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier this month, Ford previously threatened to cut off electricity to over 1 million Americans in New York, Michigan, and Minnesota.

“If he wants to destroy our economy and our families, I will shut down the electricity going down to the U.S,” Ford boasted. “And I’m telling you, we will do it.”

Ford caved just over a week later after Trump threatened retaliation against Canada.
