Wolfe is best known for her Tony-nominated role in “& Juliet.”
“The Star-Spangled Banner,” written by Francis Scott Key in 1814, has been a traditional part of American sporting events for decades.
The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Yankees, 4-2.
The Yankees, and Wolfe, have not commented on the controversy.
