One of the few bright lights on the channel, sometimes referred to as the Clinton News Network, has been a conservative strategist and Trump supporter, Scott Jennings. Time and again, he has gone into the lion’s den to take on deranged leftists.

On Wednesday night, he battled with the angry left once more, especially with former Hillary Clinton spokeswoman Karen Finney. The two have had several showdowns on CNN over the years, with Jennings usually coming out on top.

This latest encounter was no exception. During a debate over Trump likely trolling people into believing he’s serious about seeking a third term, Finney started ranting about some of the president’s poll numbers, which show he is more popular than any congressional Democrat or Republican leader in the country.

But Jennings sent her scrambling with just one simple question that anyone with a rudimentary understanding of politics could answer.

“Karen, question: who’s more popular right now, Donald Trump or Congressional Democrats?” Jennings asked.

A flummoxed Finney absurdly replied, “It doesn’t matter. Donald Trump happens to be president, doesn’t he?”

“It doesn’t?” Jennings fired back. “He’s sitting at 50/50 (approval rating); you’re sitting at 20/80.”

Having no real answer for these facts, Finney tried to nitpick and say that Trump’s approval number was actually 48% approve/50% disapprove (as if that makes any difference).

When Jennings understandably started shaking his head, Finney got triggered and asked if he wanted to call her a name, to which he responded with a mic-drop.

“You want to call CBS News?” he quipped.
