The Gateway Pundit reported on recent talks between the United States and Russia.
The discussion included a successful prisoner swap, which freed American ballerina Ksenia Karelina in a victory for Trump Diplomacy.
Karelina is the 45th US citizen President Donald J. Trump has liberated since he returned to the White House only nine weeks ago.
President Trump shared Karelina’s message after landing safely at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland late Thursday night.
“Mr. Trump, I’m so, so grateful for you to bring me home and for [the] American government.”
“And I never felt more blessed to be American and I’m so, so happy to get home. Thank you.”
President Trump added, “Glad to have you back home.”

Deutsche Welle reported that Karelina received a 12-years in a Russian penal colony after being convicted of treason for donating around $50 to a charity benefiting Ukraine while visiting family in Russia.
She was initially detained for “petty hooliganism” while visiting family in Russia that year.
Russian authorities claimed that Karelina, who lived in Los Angeles, raised money for the Ukrainian army and took part in “public actions” that supported Ukraine while in the U.S.
