Criminals Attack Seven Different Prisons Across France in a Night of Fury, as the Government Struggles To Combat the Drug Trafficking Gangs

Arson attacks and automatic fire targeted several prisons overnight, as the government scrambles to contain armed resistance from organized criminal organizations.

No, we are NOT talking about Haiti – this happened Monday (14) night in France, where President Emmanuel Macron spends all his energy meddling in other countries’ businesses, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the social fabric of his once proud nation is fraying.

Toulon prison was shot at by automatic weapons.

Vehicles were set alight outside seven different French prisons, and one jailhouse was shot at by an automatic weapon, as the government attempts to curtail the power of the drug gangs.

BBC reported:

“Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin said the jails had faced ‘intimidation attempts’ and linked the attacks to the government’s crackdown on drug trafficking.

Seven establishments were targeted, according to the Parisien newspaper: in Toulon, Aix-En-Provence, Marseille, Valence and Nîmes in southern France, and in Villepinte and Nanterre, near Paris.”

France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office is investigating the attacks.

Darmanin will ‘support’ officers targeted with gunfire at the prison in Toulon.

“Without directly attributing blame for the attacks, he said the French government was ‘facing up to the problem of drug trafficking’ and taking measures that would ‘profoundly disrupt’ criminal networks.”

Since ‘all is fine’ at home, Macron lectures the world on international geopolitics.

“Monday night’s attacks come after seven vehicles were set on fire in a similar attack on France’s national school of prison administration on Sunday, according to the [prison guard union, FO Justice].

‘It is worrying to note that some people no longer hesitate to directly attack the prison’s property, a symbol of state authority’, [the union] said in a statement.”
