A far-left media hack got burned today after trying to get a loyal Trump voter to criticize the president on tariffs and the cost of groceries.
AS TGP readers may know, President Trump will arrive in Warren, Michigan later today to hold a rally marking the first 100 days of his second term. This comes as the corporate media and Democrats have lambasted him for a variety of issues, including unleashing tariffs to help fix unfair trade deals and bring jobs back to the United States.
Americans have, unfortunately, bought into the media onslaught and are blaming Trump for rising costs. Trump’s approval ratings are now suffering as a result, and his enemies smell blood in the water.
An MSNBC reporter decided to trick an older female Trump supporter, who was waiting in line to see the president in Warren, into giving a soundbite bashing the president on the economy.
“Are you prepared to pay higher prices for goods?” the reporter asked.
But this question quickly blew up in his face as the wise lady politely pointed out an inconvenient fact: prices started skyrocketing in 2021 once Biden seized power.
“I’ve been paying higher prices, sweetie,” she replied. “Since the point Biden got into office, my groceries have doubled. My gas has doubled.”
“I’m used to it,” she added.

After getting embarrassed, the media hack then tried another tactic to get the lady to turn against Trump.
“Are you prepared for more?” he queried.
Knowing that the tariffs are part of Trump’s long-term plan to level the playing field in trade, she said she’s willing to put up with a little more short-term pain because a greater reward awaits.
“Yes, because it has to happen before prices go back down,” she explained.
