President Trump Turns the Tables on Kristen Welker When Questioned About Possible Recession (VIDEO)

President Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview at Mar-a-Lago with NBC’s “Meet the Press” far-left host Kristen Welker.

Welker repeatedly asked President Trump about a possible recession.

“Look, yeah, it’s, everything’s OK. What we are… I said, this is a transition period. I think we’re going to do fantastically.”

“Some people on Wall Street have expressed concerns that the possibility of a recession is increasing and I want to know what you think about? Are you comfortable with the country potentially dipping into a recession for a period of time if you are able to achieve your long term goals?” Kristen Welker asked Trump.

President Trump turned the tables on Kristen Welker.

“Well, you know, you say, ‘Some people on Wall Street say’ — well, I tell you something else. Some people on Wall Street say that we’re going to have the greatest economy in history. Why don’t you talk about them?” Trump said during the interview at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

“Because some people…there are many people on Wall Street that say this is going to be the greatest windfall ever happen,” Trump added.

The media is currently obsessing over a potential “Trumpcession” even though the US economy is still reeling from four disastrous years of Joe Biden.

In July 2022, after two consecutive quarters in which the US economy contracted—the very definition of a recession—the media magically redefined recession to protect Joe Biden.

NPR defended Biden and redefined recession.

“While two consecutive quarters of negative growth is often considered a recession, it’s not an official definition. A nonprofit, non-partisan organization called the National Bureau of Economic Research determines when the U.S. economy is in a recession. An NBER committee made up of eight economists makes that determination and many factors go into that calculation,” far-left propagandists at NPR wrote in July 2022 in defense of Joe Biden’s horrible economy.
