President Trump signs executive order lowering drug prices

President Trump torched an ABC News reporter as he signed an executive order aimed at lowering drug prices on Monday.

Sunday evening President Trump announced he will be taking action to reduce pharmaceutical drug prices by 30% to 80%.

On Monday President Trump criticized Big Pharma as he signed the executive order aimed at aligning what the US government pays for prescription meds to prices paid by other countries.

During the signing in the Roosevelt Room, a reporter for ABC News asked President Trump about a Boeing 747 gifted from the royal family of Qatar.

“What do you say to people who view that luxury jet as a personal gift to you? Why not leave it behind?” a reporter asked President Trump.

“You’re ABC Fake News right? Because only ABC – well, a few of you would… You should be embarrassed asking that question. They’re giving us a free jet. I could say no, no, no, don’t give us.. I want to pay you $1 billion or $400 million or whatever it is or I could say thank you very much,” Trump said.

The ABC News reporter kept pressing President Trump about the gift.

“It’s not a gift to me. It’s a gift to the Department of Defense and you should know better because you’ve been embarrassed enough and so has your network. Your network is a disaster. ABC is a disaster,” Trump said.

“I think it’s a great gesture from Qatar. Appreciate it very much. I would never be one to turn down that kind of an offer. I mean, I could be a stupid person and say, No, we don’t want a free, very expensive airplane. But it was, I thought it was a great gesture,” Trump said.
