Mike Lindell has announced that he is considering running for governor against incumbent and likely Democratic nominee Tim Walz in 2026.

Walz, who is currently serving his second term since taking office in 2019, is eligible for a third term. The failed Vice Presidential candidate is reportedly considering a reelection campaign after ruling out a bid for the Senate.

Lindell recently announced on Lindell TV that he is “considering it” and “going to do due diligence,” including running polls before he officially announces anything.

WATCH:

Lindell: I’m going to tell you right now, I am considering running for Governor of the State of Minnesota because right now we have a voice that could be big enough where— when I do my due diligence, and we’re going to do polling, we’re going to get a couple different polls to be taken. We’re going to be doing— you do all kinds of due diligence. I’m just, checking into all this now, but they’re saying, “Well, why would you consider it now, and you didn’t consider it then?” Because we got our voice back, and all the lies that, Waltz is putting out can be— we will see through them.

It won’t just be me saying it, or we’re saying it on Lindell TV, the whole world will be screaming it. These lies will be uncovered, you know? And what are they going to do, you know? “Well, Mike Lindell, you know, he was a crack addict.” Yeah? What else you got? So there you have it, Rick, I kind of surprised you with that. I am considering it, and I’m going to do due diligence over these, as we roll out this– I’m going to make some bigger announcements tomorrow and hopefully we will find out that the polling and all this stuff will show; I think it’s going to show. I live here in Minnesota. Everywhere I go, nobody wants Tim Walz. They don’t. I mean, it’s like even if you like, even if you’re a Democrat, and you think he’s a good Democrat governor, they don’t even like him for what he did, these nonsensical things he did. So, let’s say you are a Democrat and you really believe that the Democrat Party’s still the same, you would not want Walz. You would want anything but him. You know, that’s what I’m hearing all over the state of Minnesota.

Mike confirmed to The Gateway Pundit on Sunday that he is seriously exploring a campaign, and his team is currently conducting polls in Minnesota, which he expects to be completed in early June.

“Everybody can’t stand Walz. Even the people on the left don’t like them. I mean, it’s terrible in Minnesota,” he said. “He’s horrible.”

Meanwhile, Mike is in Colorado for what he calls “one of the most important trials in our country’s history.” Lindell is being sued by former Dominion Voting Systems executive Eric Coomer in the U.S. District Court for Colorado for alleged defamation. However, Mike contends that the trial will prove him right. It’s “the trial that’s going to change everything,” he says. “I believe it will be the gateway to finally getting rid of the machines.”

Mike is set to hold a press conference on June 2, the day his trial begins, at the federal courthouse in Colorado.

“My focus is to get rid of the electronic voting machines, and I really believe that’s going to come to fruition. So now, I will run,” he added, noting that he was considering a run for governor in 2022. “Then, when they stole the [2020] election, they asked me if I was still going to run, and I said I wouldn’t run to be a dog catcher until these machines are gone.”

“But now, things have changed,” he told us. “I believe that we are going to be paper ballots, hand counting. We’re under a timeline right now, but I believe that within a year, I believe, that’s going to happen.”

Mike says you can find the latest updates on his race on Lindell TV and exclusively here at The Gateway Pundit.
