Chaos in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Trial as Defense Lawyers Demand a Mistrial After Witness Mentions Fingerprints Are Missing on the Firebombing Investigation of Rival Kid Cudi’s Car

Third week of the trial is still dramatic as disgraced Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs fights against sex-trafficking and racketeering charges.

The high-profile RICO case against disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is in its third week, and there are no signs that the temperature will lower any time soon.

Today (28), the prosecution attempts to prove the racketeering by Diddy led to a chaotic moment in which the defense strenuously demanded a mistrial.

It’s hard to deny at this point that Diddy physically and sexually abused Cassie for years – but prosecutors have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he used his businesses and employees ‘to carry out, facilitate, and cover up his acts of violence, abuse, and commercial sex’ – Racketeering.

While many employees testified about setting up before and cleaning after the infamous freak-offs, to have witnessed Diddy beat up Cassie, or run around with guns to confront enemies like Suge Knight.

At the same time, in a move that does appear concerted, some lawyers are going into the media to say that so far nothing is sticking to the rapper, that the prosecution hasn’t landed its blows.

At some point today, the trial session descended into chaos, as Diddy’s lawyers demanded a mistrial after a LA official told the court that ‘someone’ destroyed Kid Cudi house burglary evidence (Cudi blames Diddy for entering his house and fire-bombinghis car).

Daily Mail reported:

“Diddy’s lawyers have asked the judge for a mistrial after arguing the prosecution made an unacceptable suggestion in front of the jury.

The defense said it was ‘outrageous’ when prosecutors appeared to suggest the mogul had destroyed fingerprints taken from Kid Cudi’s house after the January, 2012 bombing of his car.

Prosecutors had asked LAFD official Lance Jimenez about the fingerprints, and he said the evidence was destroyed in August 2012.”

When officer Jimenez said ‘somebody within LAPD’ authorized the destruction of the evidence, Diddy’s team erupted in objection.

“‘They know what they were doing’, the defense said of prosecutors. ‘They were suggesting that someone in this courtroom has something to do with improper and suspicious destruction of these fingerprint cards and that’s outrageous’. The attorneys added: ‘The only proper remedy to cure the outrageous prejudice is a mistrial’.”

Despite the commotion, the defense’s motion for a mistrial was denied by the Judge.
