Vice President J.D. Vance has broken his silence on the feud between President Trump and Elon Musk.

Following a whirlwind day of back and forth, which culminated in Elon Musk alleging that Trump was involved with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, Vance posted a message in support of his president.

“President Trump has done more than any person in my lifetime to earn the trust of the movement he leads,” he wrote on the X platform.

”I’m proud to stand beside him.”

Before that post, Vance also joked that it had been a “slow news day” as he teased his upcoming interview with podcaster Theo Von.

“Slow news day, what are we even going to talk about?” he wrote.

Vance’s comments came soon after Musk indicated he may be willing to “make peace” with Trump, hours after calling for his impeachment and removal from office.

** For the record, Theo Von’s interview with Vice President Vance has not yet been posted on his YouTube channel.

Musk’s principal issue with Trump appears to have been the size of the proposed “Big, Beautiful Bill,” although Trump has suggested that he may have ulterior motives.

ACKMAN: Trump and Musk “should make peace for the benefit of our great country. We are much stronger together than apart.”

“Elon was ‘wearing thin,’ I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!“ the president wrote on Truth Social.

“The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts,” he continued. “I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”
