Social Media Users React After Elon Musk Issues Statement of ‘Regret’ for “Some” of His Vicious Trump Posts

Elon Musk / CBS

The world’s richest man is seemingly desperate to make amends with President Trump following last week’s embarrassing blow-up and Americans have plenty of thoughts.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a furious Musk completely postal on Trump both on a personal and professional level. It all started with him trashing the president’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” making its way through Congress and ended with a series of disgusting shots at Trump, including a potentially libelous statement about Trump being in the Epstein files.

He even shared an old video of Trump with Epstein at a party with NFL cheerleaders (clearly adults) and suggested Trump had preyed on underage girls.

Because of this, it’s no wonder why Trump has declared the relationship over and is reluctant to speak to Musk.

But Musk has now issued at least a partial mea culpa. This morning, he wrote on X that he regretted “some” of his posts about Trump, saying they “went too far.”

Musk did not specify which posts he was referring to.

“I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week,” Musk wrote. “They went too far.”

I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.

Most social media users praised Musk for his at least partial apology while others scolded him for making the nasty comments toward Trump to begin with.

Take a walk when you’re angry. Put the phone down.

The worst thing to have access to when you’re in an irrational state is a device that bypasses all impulse control.

This is the way.

Thanks for setting an example of admitting when you’re wrong, that is surprisingly rare these days.

So did you lie about him being on the Epstein list?
Or, are you covering for someone on the Epstein list?

Make America Great Again! Thanks Elon!

Thank you for setting a positive example. I hope things can be made right with the Administration.

You are a good man. You’ve shown that the country’s best interests are at the heart of what you do. We all make mistakes and what matters is how we own them. Thank you for your sincere honesty. That takes strength.

Too bad you can’t buy his trust back.

America benefited greatly when Musk and Trump joined forces to defeat the radical left and drain the DC swamp. Let’s hope both can find a way to repair the bridge.
