Every time the radical Left begins to burn down cities, ideologues claim it’s just “mostly peaceful protests.”
Let’s debunk this lie in a way that even liberals can understand.
If I had a dog—and that dog was mostly peaceful, albeit stupid—but 10% of the time he violently attacked people and tried to rip their faces off, would you call that a “mostly peaceful” dog? Of course not.
In the same way, if a protest is mostly peaceful, albeit stupid, but then participants start burning down cities, attacking law enforcement, and destroying private property—all while waving foreign flags—would any rational person call that a “mostly peaceful” protest? Of course not.
As the Gateway Pundit reported,
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Wednesday what we all knew: a large number of the paid rioters and insurrectionists are illegal aliens.
Leavitt told reporters during a White House press briefing that 330 illegals have been arrested for their involvement, 113 of whom already have convictions for crimes they’ve committed while living here illegally. One of these individuals, as Leavitt revealed in her opening remarks, was a Mexican national who faces charges for attempted murder after he hurled a Molotov cocktail at a police officer.
“Overall,” leavitt said, including American citizens, “there’s been 157 people arrested for assault and obstruction related charges, including the attempted murder of a police officer with a Molotov cocktail.”
The revelation came when Leavitt was asked for details on who the White House believes is paying the rioters in Los Angeles, who are well equipped for the mayhem they are causing, after the President announced an investigation into who is financing the insurrection.
Despite the truth, Democrats like Representative Omar continue to defend the indefensible:
Critics can say what they want about bad actors at protests that are overwhelmingly peaceful. The simple fact is that our government should be held to a higher standard than the public. We must respond now, before it is too late.
