President Trump Responds After ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Holdout Senator Rand Paul Claims He Was Disinvited from White House Picnic Out of “Petty Vindictiveness”

President Trump has responded to Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) throwing a fit about supposedly being disinvited from the White House picnic tonight, possibly due to his opposition to the president’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” making its way through Congress. And unsurprisingly, he made Paul look like a total fool and liar.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Paul told reporters on Wednesday he and his family were disinvited from the White House picnic and were not given a reason for it. He added that he was unsure if the call had come from Trump.

Paul went on to call the move “petty vindictiveness.”

“I just find this incredibly petty,” Paul added. “The level of immaturity is beyond words.”

“They’ve decided they want to declare war on my family and exclude us from the White House. We’re just not welcome.”

As TGP readers know, Paul has repeatedly criticized Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill because the president wants to raise the debt ceiling.

“Paul said he wants to vote for the legislation and its tax components should the debt ceiling component be removed, saying, “In all likelihood, I can vote for what the agreement is on the rest of the bill, and it doesn’t have to be perfect to my liking.” But for him, the debt ceiling increase is a nonstarter,” CBS News reported.

Trump fired back at Paul a short time ago. He not only made clear that Paul and his family were welcome at the picnic, but that having Paul there would give him more time to convince the Kentucky senator to drop his opposition to the legislation.

Trump also took a little jab at Paul, calling him the “toughest vote in the history of the U.S. Senate.”

“Of course Senator Rand Paul and his beautiful wife and family are invited to the BIG White House Party tonight,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “He’s the toughest vote in the history of the U.S. Senate, but why wouldn’t he be?”

“Besides, it gives me more time to get his Vote on the Great, Big, Beautiful Bill, one of the greatest and most important pieces of legislation ever put before our Senators & Congressmen/women. It will help to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

“I look forward to seeing Rand. The Party will be Great!”
