ESPN commentator and former Democrat supporter Stephen A. Smith lit up Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) following his unhinged attempts to accost Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem during a press conference on Thursday afternoon.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Padilla was physically restrained and removed for heckling DHS Secretary Kristi Noem while she was giving a briefing on the Los Angeles riots. In the middle of the briefing for the media, no Senators, he aggressively approached Noem at her podium and began shouting before he was taken to the ground and detained.
DHS said in a statement that Padilla “interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem.”
“I have questions for the Secretary because the fact of the matter is half a dozen violent criminals that you’re rotating on your— hands off!” Padilla yelled at Secret Service officers as he was removed from the room.
Smith later questioned Padilla’s behavior on his podcast, saying, “Can Kristi Noem speak? Could you have waited ’till she finished to ask your questions, to shout your questions? You are a Senator, right? You couldn’t wait?”
He then shouted, “You, a United States Senator, couldn’t compose yourself and let the head of Homeland Security, finish her thoughts before you ask the question! Couldn’t do that, huh?”

So that was just you out of control because you were just losing it, huh? You, a United States Senator, couldn’t compose yourself and let the head of Homeland Security, finish her thoughts before you ask the question! Couldn’t do that, huh?
Democrats were outraged by the spectacle, implying that as a sitting Senator, Padilla is above the law and basic standards of decorum.
Now, House Democrats want to subpoena Noem “because a US Senator was just thrown to the ground and detained.”
The Gateway Pundit reported on a fiery exchange during a House Oversight Committee Hearing on Thursday, where the unhinged Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) started a shouting match with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Chairman James Comer (R-KY), demanding a subpoena for Kristi Noem.
Comer ultimately needed to shout at the Democrat, “Shut up! Just shut up!”
