Democrat Senator Alex Padilla (CA) faked cried from the Senate floor on Tuesday as he recounted being cuffed after rushing the podium and lunging at DHS Chief Kristi Noem.
“First of all, where are they taking me? Cuz I know I’m not just being escorted out to jail,” Padilla said. “Am I being arrested here?”

Last week Democrat Senator Alex Padilla was physically restrained and removed for heckling DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and lunging at her while she was giving a briefing on the Los Angeles riots.
Padilla approached the podium in an aggressive manner so he was quickly restrained.
“I have questions for the Secretary because the fact of the matter is half a dozen violent criminals that you’re rotating on your — hands off!” Padilla shouted as he was removed from the room.
Padilla was cuffed after he was removed from the room.

According to the DHS, Senator Padilla was repeatedly told to back away and did not comply with officers’ commands. The Secret Service thought Padilla was an attacker.
Padilla was not wearing his Senate security pin and he did not immediately identify himself.
FBI agents forcibly removed Padilla, slammed him to the ground and cuffed him. The California Senator was immediately released.
