Tucker Carlson Exposes Murdoch Plot to Take Down Trump — Says They Urged Him to Run Against 45 Right After Axing His Show

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has come forward with explosive claims: the Murdoch family — the globalist puppet-masters behind Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Post — tried to recruit him to run against President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination just weeks after canceling his top-rated show.

Carlson revealed that just weeks after being unceremoniously fired from Fox News in April 2023, the Murdoch family approached him with a chilling proposition: Run for President against Donald Trump.

On April 21st, FOX News released an official statement regarding Carlson’s departure: “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

Carlson’s dismissal from the network was as unexpected to him as it was to his viewers.

In an interview with British comedian Russell Brand, he revealed he was shocked at his sudden departure.

“I didn’t expect to get fired that morning at all. So I was shocked, but I wasn’t really shocked, and I wasn’t mad,” said Tucker.

“It’s not my company. And when you work for someone else, that person reserves the right, and in fact has inherently the right to decide whether you work there or not. And I don’t know why I was fired. I really don’t,” he further added.

Tucker Carlson’s biographer Chadwick Moore seemingly confirmed reports that Dominion Voting Systems demanded Fox News fire their star host as part of April’s settlement agreement.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported on Dominion allegedly blackballing Fox News in order to get rid of Tucker.

“It has now been reported that his firing was a condition demanded by Dominion as part of the settlement with Fox. Although Dominion has denied this, my sources have intimate knowledge of the situation and they have assured me even before this news leaked that this is in fact the truth,” Moore said.

“If that is true, it would mean that a small group of people who have a controlling interest in Dominion have managed to silence what is arguably the most important and influential conservative voice in the country,” he added.

Tucker Carlson went on to explain that in May 2023—a mere month after his ousting—Lachlan Murdoch personally reached out and offered full backing for a presidential campaign aimed at stopping Trump’s 2024 return to the White House.

Tucker Carlson:
The Murdochs really hate Trump. There’s no one who hates Trump more than the Murdochs. I got fired in April of 2023. In May of 2023, they asked me to run for President against Trump and said they would back me.

Tucker Carlson:
Obviously, I’m not going to run for any… I would never get elected anyway. Plus, I like Trump. The funny thing is, I actually, genuinely—I get frustrated. I’m frustrated now.

Clayton Morris:
So hold on.

Tucker Carlson:
I like Trump.

Clayton Morris:
You just said that. People—I mean, they asked you to run for President against Trump? The Murdochs?

Tucker Carlson:
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Tucker Carlson:
Lachlan Murdoch said, “You should run for President. We’ll back you.” The whole thing, the whole—

Clayton Morris:
The whole Fox News apparatus?

Tucker Carlson:
And not just Fox, but Wall Street Journal.

Clayton Morris:
All of their papers? Everything?

Tucker Carlson:
Absolutely. “We’ll back you.”

Clayton Morris:
And that came right from Lachlan?

Clayton Morris:
“You should do that.” I was already gone. They had already canceled my show. I was still under contract, but they canceled my show. “You should run. We support you. You should run.”

Clayton Morris:
“We want to stop Trump.”

Tucker Carlson:
Yeah, well, he was running.
