A video has surfaced showing the moment one of the nation’s most left-wing governors was left shocked after a man confronted her with a provocative question about her allegedly using cocaine.

During a visit to DC last month, Maine Governor Janet Mills was trolled by a man about using cocaine. The video emerged today after an unidentified source shared it with Fox News.

“Is sniffing (cocaine) at work a human right, Janet?” the reporter asks in the video.

“What the f**k!” the stunned Maine governor says in response and tries to get away from the man.

The reporter then went to ask Mills, “How much more does an eight-ball cost with inflation?” She ignored this question and quickly walked away.

As Fox News reported, Mills has been dogged by allegations since the 1990s regarding her supposed use of cocaine. She has consistently dismissed these allegations as political smears.

Back in 1990, the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) in Maine, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Maine’s Bureau of Intergovernmental Drug Enforcement (BIDE) investigated Mills, who was then a district attorney in Maine, after a drug suspect accused her of using cocaine.

No charges were filed, and the investigation was eventually dropped. But Mills has claimed that the investigation was meritless and the DOJ targeted her because she was a Democrat and because she criticised BIDE.

It’s scary,” Mills whined to the Portland Press Herald in November 1991. “Maine apparently has a secret police force at work that can ruin the reputation of any who opposes it.”

However, Fox News uncovered a 195-page DOJ document on Friday that calls her denials into serious question. The outlet states that the memo shows a WCSH-TV reporter in 1990 said that Mills was being investigated by a federal grand jury for drug use, citing law enforcement sources.

Mills then sued that reporter for libel and slander, prompting Mills’ attorney to demand a grand jury investigation. The attorney alleged that “the press received leaks from BIDE law enforcement officials.”

However, the memo shows that neither federal nor state authorities engaged in misconduct. The investigation was “proper,” and Mills’s accusations were “unsubstantiated.”
