Bill Melugin reported on Tuesday that assaults on federal ICE officers are up nearly 700% compared to the same time last year during the Biden administration.
Of course, in 2024 America had open borders along the southern border and anyone was welcomed into America – perhaps 21 million in four years!
Bill Melugin: What they see as an almost constant demonization of ICE officers from both the media and politicians. And now, brand new data shows that ICE officers are facing a nearly 700% increase in assaults when compared to the same time period last year.
So take a look at this. DHS tells Fox News there have been 79 assaults against ICE since President Trump’s election, compared to just 10 assaults during the same time last year. These can range from physical assaults to slashing of tires and vehicle ramming and other kinds of physical interference.
So far, though, no ICE agents have been seriously hurt or hospitalized. The Trump Justice Department has been announcing charges all around the country in connection to these alleged assaults that they say have been disrupting immigration enforcement operations. That includes right here in Los Angeles, where federal vehicles were pelted with rocks and stones as they left a protest area last month.
FOX News obtained video from inside one of those vehicles as the rocks broke through the windshield. Those rocks left one CBPA agent with a minor laceration, and DHS says it’s sanctuary politicians who are putting a target on ICE. Bill Melugin told FOX News that Los Angeles Mayor will not meet with FOX to discuss this situation. She really doesn’t care.

Secretary Noem warned the violent protesters that they will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law if they lay a hand on an ICE agent.
