President Trump on Wednesday responded to reporters’ questions about the Epstein files, and he again defended Attorney General Pam Bondi and said that “certain Republicans got duped” by the Democrats’ hoax.
Trump was asked if he would ask Bondi to release more documents, and he said, “whatever’s credible, she can release,” slamming some Republicans for getting “duped” by Democrats and comparing the situation to Russiagate. The President later said, “She says I gave you all the credible information.”
“If she finds any more credible information, she’ll give that too.”
“I was surprised, but they got duped,” he said of Republicans who aren’t satisfied with Bondi’s nothingburger of a release and claims that Epstein killed himself.
This, of course, comes after Attorney General Bondi and FBI Director Patel, in February, hosted a big Epstein file release for a select group of MAGA influencers, handing them white binders that turned out to have nothing new inside. Bondi later claimed that she was misled by FBI agents and that “thousands of pages of documents” were withheld from her office after the dumpster fire of a release.
Who really duped Republicans? The Democrats or Pam Bondi?
Trump was also asked about past claims made by FBI Director Kash Patel, who has frequently spoken about Epstein’s black book and how the FBI and intel agencies are hiding facts from the American people. “I can’t speak about him, but I can say that Pam Bondi, I really think that she’s done very good,” Trump said before launching into a tirade about his successes during his first six months in office, including the One Big Beautiful Bill, and attacking Biden.

Trump: Whatever’s credible, she can release. If a document is credible, if a document’s there that is credible, she can release. I think it’s, I think it’s good, but it’s just, really, it’s just a subject. He’s dead, he’s gone, and all it is is the Republicans, certain Republicans got duped by the Democrats, and they’re following a Democrat playbook. And no different than Russia, Russia, Russia and all the other hoaxes. They’re started by the Democrats and some Republicans. In this case, I was surprised, but they got duped.
Reporter: Your FBI Director made some interesting statements in the past–
Trump: Well, I don’t know. I can’t speak about him, but I can say that Pam Bondi, I really think that she’s done very good. She says I gave you all the credible information, and if she finds any more credible information, she’ll give that too. What more can she do than that? I mean, honestly, what more can she do? And we do have bigger problems. You know, we have problems with millions of illegal people that came in here, and they’re killers and murderers. We have 11,888 murders that were allowed in to our country by Biden, Sleepy Joe Biden, stupid Joe Biden…
As The Gateway Pundit reported, earlier in the press conference, President Trump slammed Republicans, calling them “stupid and foolish” for talking about Epstein.
“The sad part is it’s people that are really doing the Democrats’ work,” he said.
This comes after the President posted a fiery statement on Truth Social, where he condemned his “PAST supporters,” saying, “I don’t want their support anymore!”
