Tulsi Gabbard Issues Statement After Releasing Whistleblower Testimony — Insider Says They Were “THREATENED” to Back Obama-Directed Phony Russia Narrative

A newly declassified document released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Monday revealed explosive whistleblower testimony detailing how the Obama administration manipulated intelligence assessments to delegitimize President Donald Trump before he even took office.

The whistleblower, a former Deputy National Intelligence Officer (DNIO) who served from 2015 to 2020, has laid out a scathing firsthand account of how top intelligence officials were pressured, under direct orders from the Obama White House, to shape a 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) that falsely suggested Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump win.

Gabbard released the following statement on X:

“Whistleblower reveals how they were threatened by a supervisor to go along with the Obama-directed Russia hoax “intelligence” assessment, even though they knew it was not credible or accurate. The Whistleblower refused.

Yesterday we released the Whistleblower’s firsthand account of what happened in the crafting of the January 2017 ICA, their yearslong efforts to expose the egregious manipulation and manufacturing of intelligence carried out at the highest levels of government and the IC (detailed in our previous releases) and how they were repeatedly ignored.

Thank you to this courageous whistleblower, and others who are coming forward now, putting their own well-being on the line to defend our democratic republic, ensure the American people know the truth, and hold those responsible accountable.”

According to the whistleblower, then-President Obama personally requested the 2016 intelligence analysis via then-DNI James Clapper, setting in motion a series of backroom maneuvers that culminated in the fraudulent 2017 ICA.

The testimony reveals that pressure was exerted on intelligence analysts to ignore inconvenient facts and abandon legitimate cyber investigations, especially when those facts failed to support the narrative of Russian collusion.

According to the testimony:

In response, [redacted] actively pressured me to change my judgements, and stated clearly and directly to me that [redacted]sought my concurrence as a means to persuade the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), so that DIA would provide their concurrence with the analytic assessments of the 2017 ICA.

[…]

[redacted] then made arguments in which [redacted] pressured me to accept the 2017 ICA’s judgement of a decisive Russian preference for then President-elect Trump, and stated to me that he sought my concurrence as means to sway the position of DIA.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that one of James Clapper’s cronies threatened to withhold a promotion of a senior intelligence analyst who refused to sign off on the fake ICA report related to the Russia collusion hoax.

According to notes obtained by The Federalist, a top intel analyst said one of Clapper’s henchmen told him to approve the fake ICA report because “There is reporting you are not allowed to see,” adding that “if you saw it, you would agree.”

“You need to TRUST ME on this,” Clapper’s unidentified supervisor would say to the intel analyst. The intel analyst refused to sign off on the fake report even though he was being threatened.
