Six-Times Deported Illegal Alien from Mexico Tries to Run Over ICE Agents in Colorado

The four years of Joe Biden’s open border have continued to take a toll on our country and have made the work of ICE more difficult. In addition to that, ICE agents have been put in danger thanks to the narrative of the left-wing media and Democrat politicians who have lost all common sense.

Jose Mendez-Chavez, 31 years of age, and an illegal alien from Mexico, allegedly tried to run over ICE agents this week in Colorado Springs, Colorado, while they were working to find illegals in the area.

He was previously deported six times and has a very long criminal history, which includes illegal reentry into the US, domestic violence, and child abuse.

At this time, Medez-Chavez is still on the loose, but the passenger of the vehicle, Francisco Zapata-Pacheco, was arrested by ICE agents. According to ICE, Zapata-Pacheco is cooperating and will be held by the agency pending criminal and immigration procedures.

To make things worse for ICE, their statement also revealed that a local response team in Colorado arrived to advocate for the illegals. They also reminded the public that there has been an 830 percent increase in assaults on ICE agents due to activist group propaganda.

In addition to Mendez-Chavez original crimes, he is now wanted for assaulting an ICE officer.

Fox News Reported:

An illegal immigrant from Mexico accused of attempting to run over federal agents in Colorado was previously deported six times and has prior convictions for child abuse and domestic violence.

Jose Mendez-Chavez, 31, was the driver of a vehicle used to attack U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as they were conducting an operation in Colorado Springs. He remains on the loose. Francisco Zapata-Pacheco, a passenger in the car, was arrested Thursday.

“As a result of their violent actions and to protect the officers and agents onsite, an officer fired three shots into the vehicle. The aliens fled and later abandoned the vehicle,” an ICE spokesperson said.

Bill Melugin of Fox News posted information about the suspect which was provided by ICE.
