While Latin America is producing effective rightwing leaders such as El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele and Argentina’s Javier Milei, much of the subcontinent is still mired with failed socialist regimes that are a direct threat to the US’ primary defense environment of the western hemisphere.
While some countries such as Cuba or Nicaragua seem beyond immediate saving, in other countries the situation can be easily remedied with a strong and effective US foreign policy – and that’s what Trump is doing, right now.

Take Brazil, for example: it was a successful country under conservative US-allied Jair Bolsonaro, before the Joe Biden administration from hell unleashed the CIA and the USAID to subvert the situation, springing Lula da Silva out of jail, stealing the election with the same rigged voting machines and turning Brazil into yet another Chinese-Russian protectorate.
Besides dismantling the US-taxpayer money flow to leftist NGOs, the Trump administration is now proactively supporting the rightwing majority in the country, by confronting the tyrannical Supreme Court justice Alexandre de Moraes and a host of other bad players.

US Slaps Tyrant Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Moraes With Sanctions Under Magnitsky Law.
The support from the US has given the conservatives a new life, and while the allies of Justice Moraes flee the massacre of the sanctions, the right wing is up in arms in congress to try to approve amnesty for the people imprisoned and prosecuted for the fake ‘coup’ in January 8 2023 (our J6), and also the impeachment of Moraes.
Read today’s post by the US embassy in Brazil, that just made every freedom-loving citizen’s heart swell with gratitude to Trump and the United States.
And all signs point to Trump elevating the pressure against Lula da Silva and the out-of-control judges:
Conexão Política on Instagram (translated from Portuguese):
“Sources in the US government and Congress [say] that the next targets of the Magnitsky Act are expected to include Viviane Barci de Moraes, wife of Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Alexandre de Moraes, and the couple’s two children. Other members of the judge’s family are also reportedly on the radar of authorities in Washington.
[…] In the first round, the judge was included on the Magnitsky Act list, but his wife was left out. Now, her inclusion is treated as an ‘extension’ of the penalties already imposed. Also under discussion is the expansion of the tariff hike against Brazilian products. This time, Supreme Federal Court justices and officials from the Executive and Legislative branches who expressed support for Moraes may be targeted with further sanctions.”
A strong, conservative Brazil can help flip Venezuela and the rest of the subcontinent.
