WATCH: Border Czar Tom Homan Blasts ‘South Park’ Parody as ‘In Bad Form’ Amid Escalating Threats to ICE Agents

Border czar Tom Homan is not impressed with South Park’s latest episode, which mocked Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Homan appeared on NewsNation’s Cuomo on Thursday and discussed the episode, titled “Got a Nut,” which aired on August 6.

The episode made fun of ICE, particularly its hiring incentives, such as $50,000 bonuses. It also takes a brutal jab at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem by referencing her controversial admission of shooting her family dog.

Homan did not hold back his critique of the show while speaking to host Chris Cuomo.

“Look, it’s just in bad form, especially right now,” Homan said.

“I know the [DHS] Secretary announced today we’re up over an 830% increase on assaults on ICE agents. Now we’re up over 1,000%,” he continued.

Homan explained that it was “bad timing” for the jabs due to the violence.

“A lot on the left don’t like what ICE does, but there’s a small percentage that take it too far … they feel emboldened the more and more they see this bad rhetoric coming out,” Homan explained.

The border czar noted that despite the left’s efforts, there are no shortage of people applying to help deport people who do not belong in this country.

“Last month, Border Patrol had a record number of recruiting numbers, the highest the agency’s ever seen. So there’s no shortage of people who want to come and join the ranks,” Homan said.

Many of the threats the agents face is because Biden had taken such a soft approach to deportation previously.

“For four years, ICE wasn’t able to do its job because Secretary Mayorkas told ICE, ‘You can’t arrest somebody for simply being here illegally.’ They had to be convicted of a serious crime, so ICE wasn’t doing their job,” Homan said.

“ICE is doing exactly what President Trump says they’re doing.”
