California Governor Gavin Newsom’s press team got bodied again on X after trying to defend California’s sanctuary state policies and credit the Trump Administration for an illegal alien killing three Americans.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, an illegal alien, who obtained his truck driving license (CDL) in the Democrat-run sanctuary state of California, killed three Americans after he made an illegal U-turn on a Florida highway this week.
The driver, identified as Harjinder Singh, was arrested and charged with three counts of vehicular homicide after he made an insane U-turn directly in front of a car to his left on Florida’s Turnpike.
The animal showed zero emotion after he exited the 18-wheeler and examined what was left of the vehicle – a pile of mangled metal and three dead bodies.
It was later revealed that Singh received a work permit from the Biden Regime in June 2021 after the Trump Admin denied him one in September 2020.
While the illegal crossed in 2018, it was Biden who gave him permission to live and work in the United States, and it was California that illegally granted him a driver’s license.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Newsom’s press office responded to the incident by sharing a graphic, stating that the driver entered the U.S. under the Trump Administration and showing California’s law prohibiting illegal aliens from obtaining driver’s licenses. Bizarrely, the post also claimed that “research consistently shows that issuing driver’s licenses for undocumented people improves public safety,” a slap in the face to the victims of the dangerous illegal driver.
As noted by the White House, Newsom’s team accidentally admitted that California broke its own law by giving the illegal a driver’s license while they were trying to blame Trump for the tragedy.
However, that didn’t stop Newsom’s office from continuing to lie about the illegal.
Newsom’s office again tried to “fact check” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin on Monday, claiming “YOU issued him a work permit” and sarcastically calling McLaughlin “genius.” The post continues, “As usual, the Trump Administration is either lying or clueless.”

McLaughlin did not give a particularly fiery response, nor did she have to. She simply told the truth, responding, “False. Harjinder Singh is in the United States illegally and his work authorization was rejected under the Trump Administration on September 14, 2020. It was later approved under the Biden Administration June 9, 2021.”
“The state of California issues Commercial Drivers Licenses. There is no national CDL,” she continued, signing off on the post, “sincerely, Genius.”
