One of the most radical mayors in America has given the rhetorical middle finger to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi despite facing severe consequences for harboring illegal aliens while comparing herself to those who fought for American independence.
Last week, Bondi sent letters to the mayors of several sanctuary cities containing an ultimatum. She demanded that they commit by today to complying with the Trump Administration’s efforts to enforce federal immigration law or face various consequences, including the loss of federal funds.
“You better be abiding by our federal policies and with our federal law enforcement, because if you aren’t, we’re going to come after you,” she added during a Fox News interview.
Earlier this month, the Justice Department sent out a press release containing the cities, states, and counties actively impeding immigration law enforcement.
The list included the states of California and Illinois, and 18 cities such as Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City.
During a speech in front of City Hall today, leftist Boston Mayor Michelle Wu told the Trump Administration to get lost and lectured them on the immigration law she was willfully breaking.
“The U.S. Attorney General asked for a response by today, so here it is,” Wu crowed to the crowd. “Stop attacking our cities to hide your administration’s failures. Unlike the Trump administration, Boston follows the law, and Boston will not back down from who we are and what we stand for.”
“You are wrong on the law, and you are wrong on safety. Most of all, you are wrong on cities,” she added.

As Fox News noted, Wu also had the gall to invoke the AMERICAN REVOLUTION in her speech today, comparing her actions protecting illegals with those of the American colonials who defeated a tyrannical regime to gain their independence.
“We are gathered here today to show you who we are in Boston. More than 100 years before your home state was founded, Bostonians were across the street in Faneuil Hall, setting the foundation for our democracy and rule of law,” Wu said. “One hundred years before that, Bostonians were founding the first public school and public park in the country.”
“This has always been a city of revolution, of innovation, of standing up for the public good and never bowing down to tyranny,” she continued. “With me today, our fellow public servants and veterans, public safety and faith leaders, civil rights advocates, and labor union members, teachers and business owners, entrepreneurs and artists, youth and seniors.”
“This is our city. This is our country, and I’m so proud and grateful to show the world who our community is here in Boston and what we’re made of.”
Wu does not need to look far to find out that the Trump Administration has already shown that it is willing to punish those who violate the law. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Boston’s pro-illegal alien Sheriff Steve Tompkins was arrested on federal extortion charges on Friday.
Sheriff Tompkins is the same person who kicked ICE out of his jails back in 2019.
Despite this, Wu remains defiant. Perhaps the Trump Administration needs to haul her off in handcuffs next.
