Tina Peters called unexpectedly from prison on Wednesday morning. Her courage, concern and love for others while she sits in prison is an incredible example of being virtuous in the face of unspeakable abuse.
On Wednesday morning Tina Peters unexpectedly called me from prison.
(You can learn about her situation and what she has gone through at TinaPeters.us. See the movie Selection Code linked to her home page which tells her story in detail. You can also donate to help pay her legal bills and home bills while she is in prison.)
As you can see, even though Tina is in prison, she still thinks about others while exhibiting tremendous courage and faith.
Here is an audio of the call.

Below is a transcript of the call you can read while listening to the call.
Joe Hoft
Hi, this is Joe.
Tina Peters
Good morning, Joe. How are you doing?
Joe Hoft
I am so happy to hear your voice.
Tina Peters
Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. I’m so grateful for you. Thank you.
Joe Hoft
Well, I got to tell you, I don’t know if people, you’ve probably been told we had an event a couple of weeks ago, and Peter Ticken specifically spoke about you and your situation, and we showed a beautiful video, probably three minutes long, that was just powerful. Everybody there is praying for you. Everybody loves you. We all know that this evil is not done yet, and we got to keep fighting.
Tina Peters
Yeah, for sure. I appreciate it. I haven’t been able to see the video, obviously, being here, but I’ve heard it was wonderful. It got like 500,000 views or something. I’m very grateful for that.
Joe Hoft
Well, everybody there has you in the back of their mind at all times, so I just want you to know that we’re praying for you. Thank you. We’re doing all we can, and we’re going to keep doing it.
Tina Peters
I know. I’m very grateful. That’s what keeps me going. God and all the patriots out there that have stood by me through all of this. It’s been quite the ride.
Joe Hoft
Oh, my. Oh, man.
Tina Peters
Yeah.
Joe Hoft
Well, what can I do for you today? Anything specific.
Tina Peters
Oh, thank you. Well, you’ve already done so much, writing articles and doing all the things you’ve done. And I’m just very grateful for that. The new filing came out, which I thought was excellent.
Joe Hoft
That’s awesome. I will get it and put it up today. I haven’t seen it yet. And Trump’s been saying, too, get her out of there.
Tina Peters
Yes. So you’re not…
Joe Hoft
There’s a huge army behind you right now. HUGE.
Tina Peters
Oh, I’m so grateful. I’m so grateful, Joe. I I really am.
Joe Hoft
What a… Well.
Tina Peters
My hope’s up.
Joe Hoft
Well, we’ve all been attacked, but your story is pretty unique. Pretty terrible. And it’s really-
Tina Peters
How are you doing with all this? Well, I’m still fighting, but I have a lot of hope. We got a lot of people praying for me, and I know a lot of people praying for you. And ultimately, that’s what’s going to save us all.
Joe Hoft
That’s right.
Tina Peters
So it’s So a lot of hope. I’m not behind bars, but I am. But I felt some pain.
Tina Peters
Yeah. Well, it’s that constant thing that they keep you on your heels. Like before I got in here, they were always keeping me on my heels. They just keep hitting you. And sometimes you think, Gosh, I don’t know how I can make it through another day, but God gives you the strength to do it. And somehow, I told Marcy yesterday, I said, I said, I told some of the girls this, too. You don’t know how much courage you have until that’s the only choice you have. You don’t know. Some people will run, some people will freeze, and some people go forward into the fight. And people like you and me, we go forward into the fight. I mean, we just, you know what I’m used to say, it raises a Navy seal for nothing. It’s like, we can’t back down, we can’t give up, and we can’t give in. And all those things, all those mantras that I’ve said and those quotes where I’ve said, Everybody can do something. They can’t get us all. I mean, really, it takes people standing standing up and not backing down. I was talking to somebody yesterday out in the yard, and they said, Yeah, this person knew all the corruption that was going on in the Sheriff’s Department, and they wouldn’t step up and say anything because they had something on them and da, da, da.
Tina Peters
And that’s how a lot of people are. They just won’t stand up and say anything. They just let the evil continue. And so people like you and others that have gotten out there and just won’t back down. And that being in the Bible says that if we think not, if we keep going and do good and think not and do season three, but I think her season is upon us. I hope, you know. I was strong.
Joe Hoft
Wow. Really powerful stuff. Hey, can I share any of this in an article?
Tina Peters
Okay. Yeah, you bet. I’m very grateful for-
Joe Hoft
I just I just love what you just shared. It’s just so freaking powerful. God.
Tina Peters
Well, it’s true that if people just would stand. You can put on the breastplate, you can put on the armor all you want. But if you don’t stand, then that’s the final thing. If you’re just going to stand after you’ve done all those things. Yeah. A lot of people won’t do that. They’ll throw it on haphazardly, and then the armor, and then they’ll go hide somewhere, wait for a miracle to happen. You got to stand. You got to stand no matter what. You know, I love one of my favorite movies is the 300.
Joe Hoft
Yeah, me too.
Tina Peters
Yeah. It was funny because my daughter was in college then. She’d come back home to go to college. One night, she was just so tired. She said, Please, Mom, I’ve got to read these chapters. Just read them to me. And I’m reading story about the 300 up against the Persian army and how they were trained from a young age. They were… So many things we could equate to how we need to be training our kids and how we need to be as people and then to just be fearless. I know some of these girls in here. I mean, I’ve had hands laid on me three times. I’ve had just stuff. And it’s weird because when we’re chest to chest, I mean, literally, chest to chest, staring in this other space and they’re yelling at me and I’m standing. I’ve had girls try to pull them off of me because I won’t back down, I won’t give in, and I won’t give up. Again, one girl was doing that, and we were in the bathroom, and she was confronting me and being all powerful, like she’s going to hit me. I was like, You go right ahead.
Tina Peters
I said, Do you want to add 15 years of your sentence? She said, You can do that? I said, Okay, I’m right. I’m 70 years old. I’ll be 70, 9/11. My birthday is 9/11. I hope it gives me a birthday present and gets me out of here. Wow. Put that out there. Ask Trump to get me out of. Wow.
Joe Hoft
Wouldn’t that be powerful? Wouldn’t that be Something like that. Oh, my God. It’s funny. We had this event, and we called it Vindicated. Oh, I like that. About a month before the event, Tulsi Gabbard came out with all this information and forwarded it to the DOJ. We decided, We need to change this. We had all the great Americans there besides you, Rudy Giuliani, Roger Stone, General Flynn, Lara Logan, Jim and I, David Clements. The list It just went on and on. It was so wonderful as we all stood there knowing that things are moving forward and we’re being vindicated. We will celebrate when you get out of there. We are going to really celebrate.
Tina Peters
I’m so grateful. I’m so grateful. I had a vision years ago, and there was this in heaven And there’s all these… It’s like a gallery of portraits. And so you could walk into any of the portraits, right? So I walked into this one, this beautiful Meadow, and all this stuff. And there was a little girl with blonde hair. She looked like she was about 10 or, yeah, about 10 years old. And she had these little ringlets and little blue ribbons, little baby blue ribbons in her hair. And just She was so pretty. And she was this innocent girl, and she was motioning for us to follow her. And so we went, and we went through this meadow, then behind this waterfall. And there was a cave. You went down like you do those vapor caves. And it was like a preparation pool. And all of us were in the pool getting prepared. Kind of like an Esther type thing, where you’re getting prepared and that thing. And And then the other end of the cave or whatever we were in opened up and we went out. Well, we had all become one and we were in a wedding gown and all lined up on either side of the path were the sentry soldiers and they’re at attention, out of respect.
Tina Peters
And we’re one person and we’re in a wedding gown. And I happened to pull up the hem of the wedding gown, the wedding gown. I looked and we had combat boots on. Wow. It was I’ll never… I’ve had a few of those about being in the fire and that thing. And the Lord calling me on the other side of it. I’ve had a few of those that he keeps reminding me about. And then I get to the other side and through this tunnel of fire. And I could hear his voice. He’s, It’s okay. It’s okay. Come on. You’re not, you’re going to be okay. And I’m going through this fire. And on the other side, once I get to the other side, I look to my left and my right. And there’s other people that have gone through the fire. And then we have these flumes of fire on their head you know, like the Holy spirit. And so before that sentence, I was like, Hey, God, where am I in this fire? Where am I in this fire? And I It was consuming my whole body, except for my head. And I was, you know how a sprinter will put one hand down, like they’re getting ready to bolt, getting ready for the gun to go off and go.
Tina Peters
And that’s the position I was in. But I just never thought it would take almost a year to get out of this.
Joe Hoft
But anyway. Wow. That’s really, really amazing. I don’t know I got to say it. Oh, God. And I’ll be thinking about that for a while. Yeah.
Tina Peters
Yeah. God’s amazing. I have this thing up. I don’t know if you’ve seen it. I made it when I was in Lucey County, and it was this collage because we couldn’t have scissors, we couldn’t have different things. We had a tiny pen that was like four inches. It was really the inside of a pen. That’s what we had to write with, and like a flexible thing. And so I would take that thing and I would I could force up some magazines and stuff. I would just cut out words. And I made this little collage. And it says, Defeating the Court’s decision in Jesus’ name, see yourself free. You don’t to go back according to God’s will. It’s a miracle according to God’s will, something like that. I have that up on my wall to remind me that it’s not going to come from the Colorado courts. It’s going to come from a miracle.
Joe Hoft
Yeah, that’s so true. Miracles are happening every day. We wouldn’t be here without the miracle that the whole world saw, which was Trump turning his head just one split second.
Tina Peters
Yeah.
Joe Hoft
That bullet just grazing his head rather than going through it. We’ve been really blessed. We’re really blessed. It’s not for not. I love this thing, too. God doesn’t throw us out in the water. He’s not going to save us just to let us go drown. He’s going to continue to save us along the way, and we just have to hang in there. Have faith.
Tina Peters
That’s right. Persevere. I think a lot of the things that have just happened to me before I even got here, that’s really helped me to get through this because it’s difficult. I’m in here with women who are serving life for murder. I mean, there’s a lot of people that are in here for very vital crimes, killing their babies, running their house down, and putting people inside, and stabbing one girl, one girl. I’m talking not just in the whole prison. I’m talking in the unit pot I am that have some money 30 times. Wow. This is not a minimum security prison. They have moved people in here that are really Really.
Joe Hoft
That’s something. The audacity that they put you there is just beyond belief. You just can’t even imagine. It’s so dark.
Tina Peters
Yeah, it really is. Do you know what this prison used to be? You might do a little research on it if you think about it, but this prison used to be an insane asylum. That’s fact.
Joe Hoft
Sorry, it used to be what?
Tina Peters
Yes. It used to be… I had to listen for that to see if it was for me or something. But it used to be an insane asylum.
Joe Hoft
Oh my.
Tina Peters
A mental hospital. It was tunnels. I was talking with the guard last night and some girls There’s tunnels all over the place under here where they used to take out the bodies. And then there’s a field where they were excavating for another building that went up across the way here. And they found all these bones of bodies had been buried. But there’s all kinds of tunnels under here. That’s wild. I asked him, I said, Do you go down there? He goes, Oh, yeah. He says, They’re everywhere under here. And he says, It’s really creepy.
Joe Hoft
That sounds like it.
Tina Peters
So it’s evil. Yeah, who knows the evil that has the principalities? So it’s all… It’s a bit It is really when light comes into darkness, I know darkness has to flee, but it’s been a battle. You don’t just go serve your time. I mean, these cards, they prod you, they poke you, they try to aggravate you, they try to… And then the girls can get out on the other girls and stuff like that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That. So, yeah, it’s something that I never, ever thought I would experience in a long time. No. I think about it, I’m almost seventy years old. Yeah. And it’s not like you have that on your bucket list. Oh, I think I’ll…
Joe Hoft
Yeah.
Tina Peters
I think I’ll go to prison for what? Yeah.
Joe Hoft
For what? Yeah.
Tina Peters
For exposing criminals. But I mean, I look back, Joe, and even knowing and even going through what I’ve gone through, I would do it again. I would do it again.
Joe Hoft
Yeah. And that’s what that judge said to you. And I have no doubt that you would do it again.
Tina Peters
Well, that’s the only thing he was right about.
Joe Hoft
Yeah, he nailed that, didn’t he?
Tina Peters
Yeah, exactly. Oh, gosh.
Joe Hoft
Oh, man.
Tina Peters
It’s crazy. Yeah. It’s just it is what it is, but I’m more hopeful now that she’ll put that out. But there was really no help. We have one minute left.
Joe Hoft
Well, Let’s say a quick prayer, okay? I’ll share something.. I’m so… Our dear Lord Jesus, we’re so grateful to hear from Tina today. It lifts my spirit and heart, and we’ll share more about what Tina’s going through. Keep this story alive. We love Tina, and we thank you for protecting her and granting her safety in such a terrible situation. We know that you’re going to be there for us until the end. We just need to hang in there, keep our faith, and have trust in you. Miracles, more miracles are going to happen by the day. In your name, we love you. Thank you, Tina.
Tina Peters
Jesus tend to Joe and his situation, so that he comes out victorious, because we serve a great God, and we are the head, not the tail, we’re the conquerors through Christ Jesus. We just thank you. Thank you for using us. Secure us. Goodbye.
