This weekend, patriotic activist John Rourke, founder of the We Fund the Blue Foundation, will lead a massive cleanup effort in one of the most devastated areas of America — Kensington, Philadelphia.
Kensington has become ground zero for the drug and homelessness crisis that has spiraled out of control under Democrat leadership. But Rourke and his team are stepping up where failed politicians refuse to act.
A Mission to Save America’s Cities
Rourke and his volunteers are expecting to remove between 15 and 25 tons of trash from the streets of Kensington. But this is more than just a cleanup — it’s what he calls an intervention for America’s cities.
“Just like many Americans need an intervention in their personal lives, so do our cities,” Rourke said. “We can’t let great cities like Philadelphia continue to rot and decay. This is about saving America from the inside out.”
As part of the mission, Rourke will also be donating more than 500 doses of Narcan to help combat the drug overdose epidemic plaguing Philadelphia.
Backing President Trump’s Vision
Rourke’s initiative, Make America Clean Again, aligns with President Donald J. Trump’s mission to make America clean, safe, and beautiful again.
“We go city to city across this nation. After Philadelphia, we’ll be in Washington, D.C. next month, and then Chicago,” Rourke said. “This is about restoring pride in America and making our communities safe again.”
Honoring Public Square’s Sponsorship

Rourke also gave thanks to Terrill Haigler, known on Instagram as @YaFavTrashman, who has led numerous cleanups across Philadelphia over the past four years.
“Terrill has been on the frontlines of this fight in his own city,” Rourke said. “It’s an honor to partner with him as we join forces to make a real difference in Kensington and across Philadelphia.”
While Terrill is a Democrat and Rourke is a Republican, both men agree that cleaning up America transcends politics. At the end of the day, no Republican or Democrat wants to see trash, needles, human waste, and human beings suffering on the streets of our nation. This mission is about restoring dignity to our communities — something every American can stand behind.
Community, Faith, and Patriotism
After the cleanup, Rourke and his team will host a barbecue for all the volunteers to thank them for their service and dedication.
He cites Scripture as the driving force behind his mission.
Isaiah 6:8 (KJV): “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
That call to service, Rourke says, is what inspires him and countless volunteers to step forward where others will not.
