Ruling Labour is floundering, and decadent Tories are fading away, as Reform UK solidifies itself as a major contender for power.
The historic British balance of power between Tories and Labour has been shattered, with the new Reform UK party now showing in the polls as the absolute leader in vote intentions for the next elections.
The party led by Brexit hero Nigel Farage has become a magnet for people wanting change – and not only voters, but even members of Parliament.
Tory frontbencher Danny Kruger has become the first sitting Conservative MP to ‘defect’ to Reform, stating that Nigel Farage’s party bears the “new torch of conservatism”.

The Telegraph reported:
“The MP for East Wiltshire announced on Monday he would cross the floor to Reform and work with Zia Yusuf, a senior member of Mr. Farage’s team, on preparing the party for government.
[…] Mr. Kruger said he was fond of many Tory MPs, but that the “failure of the Conservative Party has created space for an alternative”.
He said: ‘The flame is passing from one torch to another. The old torch, once so great, is guttering, fluttering, held weakly in uncertain hands, but the new torch is already alight, already brighter than the one it is replacing, held aloft in firm and confident hands’.”

“’It’s going to be difficult because we are planning change on a scale that the system has not seen since the modern Civil Service was created in the 19th century’, he said.
‘This work is going to be hard, and it will be opposed by the system, and that’s why we need to be radical, taking on the vested interests and the incumbents who always defend the status quo’.”
