Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and President Trump announced another successful strike on a Venezuelan drug boat, killing four drug trafficking designated foreign terrorists.
This comes after President Trump announced multiple strikes on Venezuelan drug boats last month, starting on September 2nd, when the United States executed a strike on a Venezuelan Tren de Aragua boat. Trump posted footage of the strike and put the world on notice, saying, “Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!”
One week later, the Department of Homeland Security shared more footage of a Coast Guard vessel shooting down another drug boat that was interdicted en route to US shores. Three interdictions in the same night led to the seizure of nearly 13,000 lbs of cocaine that was headed to a city near you.
And days later, Trump shared another video of a drug boat getting blown out of the water by US forces. “BE WARNED — IF YOU ARE TRANSPORTING DRUGS THAT CAN KILL AMERICANS, WE ARE HUNTING YOU!” the President said.
“The illicit activities by these cartels have wrought DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES ON AMERICAN COMMUNITIES FOR DECADES, killing millions of American Citizens. NO LONGER,” he added.

The latest strike “was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics – headed to America to poison our people,” War Secretary Pete Hegseth said in a statement.

Earlier this morning, on President Trump’s orders, I directed a lethal, kinetic strike on a narco-trafficking vessel affiliated with Designated Terrorist Organizations in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike, and no U.S. forces were harmed in the operation. The strike was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics – headed to America to poison our people.
Our intelligence, without a doubt, confirmed that this vessel was trafficking narcotics, the people onboard were narco-terrorists, and they were operating on a known narco-trafficking transit route. These strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people are over!!!!
